Advisory for COVID-19

In view of the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in many parts of the country, the following Do’s and Don’ts are advised.

- Avoiding overcrowded & poorly ventilated settings particularly by co-morbid persons and the elderly
- Wearing of masks by doctors, paramedics and other healthcare workers as well as patients and attendants within the health care facilities
- Wearing of mask in crowded and closed settings
- Using handkerchief/tissue to cover nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing
- Maintaining hand hygiene / frequent washing of hands
- · Self isolation & early reporting if symptomatic for early testing and treatment to a nearby health facility while maintaining COVID Appropriate Behaviour

- Spitting in public places
- Touching of eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
- Take antibiotics or other medicines without consulting a doctor
- Hugging, kissing and shaking hands while greeting
- Touch contaminated surfaces
