Advisory for COVID-19

Imphal, the 9th June, 2025

 

In view of the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in many parts of the country, the following Do’s and Don’ts are advised.

Do’s

Don’ts

  • Avoiding overcrowded & poorly ventilated settings particularly by co-morbid persons and the elderly
  •  Wearing of masks by doctors, paramedics and other healthcare workers as well as patients and attendants within the health care facilities
  • Wearing of mask in crowded and closed settings
  • Using handkerchief/tissue to cover nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing
  • Maintaining hand hygiene / frequent washing of hands
  • ·         Self isolation & early reporting if symptomatic for early testing and treatment to a nearby health facility while maintaining COVID Appropriate Behaviour

 

  • Spitting in public places
  • Touching of eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Take antibiotics or other medicines without consulting a doctor
  • Hugging, kissing and shaking hands while greeting
  • Touch contaminated surfaces
